Handling Configuration Items
The way of adding Configuration Items has been redesigned. It is now possible to add three different kinds of Configuration Items:
No Work Product: This is a placeholder Configuration Item. The user can add a reference to a work product later
Cross Domain Configuration: This option will show the picker for a configuration with favorites, recents and search. The user can directly select a configuration or select a Component and subsequently select one of its configurations
Work Product: This option allows to select from any authoring tools that is connected with CDCM as a friend.
The user can change an already added Configuration Item to any of the three types mentioned before. So, an already added Work Product can be changed e.g., to No Work Product.
Issues fixed
T0036: When adding and editing records in a component the save button does not work and the entered value is not saved at all.
The issue is fixed.
T0020: Handling of scoped roles
Having authenticated against an identity provider, the user is redirected to CDCM, carrying a token with a list of scopes and roles for the scope. In the authorization process, this list of scoped roles is transferred into permissions for the CDCM services. Currently all permissions are related to CRUD operations against the CDCM API.
Logging out, the user loses his authorization.
T0022: We cannot select a state for a configuration.
The issue is fixed.
T0025: When defining a property it only validates the uniqueness of the key and not the uniqueness of the name.
Defining a new property requires a unique key within the space and a unique name within the space.
T0021: When creating a configuration item, you can not edit the work product when the configuration item was empty or referencing to another CDCM configuration.
The issue is fixed.
T0006: When adding a master data field to a configuration area and editing it, it doesn't save the set value. Same behaviour for configuration item.
The issue is fixed.
T0013: When editing a product only the changes to custom properties and records are visible in the audit history. Changes to fixed properties or removing a configuration are not visible.
The issue is fixed.
T0014: When editing a configuration also the changes to fixed properties are not visible. For Configuration items all changes are visible, except for fixed properties and when changing the workproduct from an external system.
The issue is fixed.
T0007: Name of tags in UI are not editable.
The issue is fixed.
T0075: Logout issue: When pressing "Log Out" it doesn't respond and you need to refresh the page.
The issue is fixed.
T0008: When I change a work product contribution on a CDC that event is not logged in the audit-history.
The issue is fixed.
T0011: Audit history when changing a work product contribution.
The issue is fixed.
T0016: When clicking on the three dots next to a configuration item (contribution) it says "Where-Used AnalysisWhere-Used Analysis" instead of "Where-Used Analysis".
The issue is fixed.
T0017: When adding a component you need to have the "Configuration Area -Edit" permission although it is the object "Above".
The issue is fixed.
T0018: While searching for a product based on two attributes and then removing one of them, it doesn't update the search results without resetting the search.
The search deos not have to be reset any more but it must be fired again by clicking “Search”. We might further improve the UX, so a new search is automatically initiated whenever an attribute is removed.
