Features

Reassigning a unit to another configuration area

It’s now possible to reassign or in other words move a unit from one configuration area to another. The feature can be accessed to all unit sub-menus (for example directly on the unit or in the search results).

The functionality viewed as two operations

• Preparing the target configuration area (associated unit type, associated storage locations, baseline types, configuration item groups)

• Moving the unit to the target configuration area

Required permissions

• Modify – configuration area (target configuration area)

• Maintain – concept with type (target configuration area)

• Maintain – concept with type (source configuration area)
