Understanding the Integration
Smartfacts CDCM integrates with Teamwork Cloud by referencing configurations from TWC as external work products. In the configuration picker within CDCM, it is possible to select:
Teamwork Cloud Projects
Branches within those projects
Revisions of the selected branches
This flexibility allows precise tracking and management of configuration items.
Prerequisites
Before setting up the integration, ensure the connection from CDCM to Teamwork Cloud is configured via Connection Routing. Refer to the Connection Routing for setup instructions.
Steps to Add a Connection to Teamwork Cloud
Navigate to the Administration Panel:
Access Administration > Storage Location within Smartfacts CDCM.
Add a New Storage Location:
Click on the "+ Add Storage Location" button.
Select the Storage Type:
Choose "Teamwork Cloud" from the available options.
Enter the Storage Location Details:
Input the Name for the storage location.
Provide the Teamwork Cloud Base URL.
Enable the storage location in the desired configuration area
Test the Connection:
