Overview of functionalities

• The Smartfacts Portal provides access to all your software and licenses

• You will find a hierarchy of your account > sites > assigned products
  Only MID can manage this hierarchy.

• Almost all Smartfacts products are containerized and require Kubernetes or Openshift for deployment. For each product, you can select the version you want to deploy and then you can chose to do the following:

  • Update an existing instance of the product

  • Do an initial deployment of the product

  • Download the containers and push them to a local container registry on your premises

  • Download the containers

• The portal supports all steps of the deployment process also including:

  • Generating a CSR for retrieving an X.509 certificate

  • Downloading the YAML Template

• The portal provides access to the number of licenses and soon also license codes

Envite your colleagues and managing permissions

The first user of a site will be envited by the Smartfacts team and will cary the role “Client Account Admin”. A client account admin has elevated permissions and is enabled to envite other colleagues and manage their roles.
