Add Link from Jira to Codebeamer Artifact

Configuration

To enable the possibility to link Jira Issues in your Jira Project to Codebeamer Artifacts you need your Codebeamer Application as Friend and an Association between your Jira Project and the Codebeamer Tracker you want to link to.

Add Codbeamer as Friend in Jira Cloud

1. Open genOSLC Administration Menu (To be able to open the Administration Menu your user needs to be defined as Admin see Configuration OSLC Connector Jira Cloud )

2. Click new Friend

3. Give Your Friend a Name and add your Friend Rootservice URL (https://{yourCodebeamerGenOSLCInstance}/rootservices)

4. Click on save

Add Project Association

1. Go to the Associations Tab

2. Click New Associations

3. Choose your Codebeamer Friend

4. Choose the Codebeamer Tracker you want to link to the current Jira Project

5. Click Save

Add Link

After you successfully added an Association between Codebeamer an Jira Cloud you are able to click on the “+“ Icon and see all your possible Link Types between your Jira and Codebeamer Instance. Click on the Link Type you want to create and the Codebeamer Selection Picker should open in an Popup.

In the Selection Picker choose the Item you want to Link to and Click on Add Link, you can also select multiple Items at once

After you click an Add Link the new Link will appear in the Plugin.
