Add Plugin to Issue Page
1. Add Plugin to Project
You need to add the OSLC Links Plugin to your Jira Issues once added you can configure if it should be visible for alle Work Items or if you need to add it to any Work Item separatly
2. Setup Jira API Authentication
First you need to autheticate Against the App Backend, for that your own configured Oidc Provider is used which you confgured in Configuration OSLC Connector Jira Cloud | 2. Setup OIDC, Admin User and GC Provider for OSLC Connector for Jira. Just click on Login to App Backend and a Popup will open to authenticate against your Oidc Provider
Before you can use the Application the Backend needs Authentication against Jira Cloud Rest API to gather the necessary Data. For that just select an Issue and click on the Button “Check access to Jira API“
Click on Check access to Jira API if your User does not have access a Popup will open where you can add your Jira API Token and Atlassian User Name this Configuration will be used by our Plugin and Backend to fetch Data from the Jira API
You will be promted with a consent screen to allow the app to access the Jira api once accepted you are ready to use the App. If the Access Token/Refresh Token for the API does expire you need to give your consent again.
After giving the API Access to Jira API you are ready to use it and you will see our OSLC Links Plugin
