Steps to manage traceability

Infrastructure preparations

  • Smartfacts Account Manager: Add a friend in Smartfacts to Codebeamer

  • Codebeamer Administrator: Add a friend on the Codebeamer side

Project preparations

  • Smartfacts Project Manager: Start a new project

  • Smartfacts Project Manager: Add a reference to Codebeamer to your project tree

  • Smartfacts Project / Model Manager: Publish a model to your Smartfacts project

  • Codebeamer Administrator: Add an association to Smartfacts (AM) on the Codebeamer side

Tools supported

This tutorial works for Codebeamer with the OSLC Connector for Codebeamer by MID and

  • Cameo Systems Modeler by Dassault Systèmes

  • CATIA Cyber Systems Engineer by Dassault Systèmes

  • MagicDraw by Dassault Systèmes

While these three tools by Dassault Systèmes are very similar in functionality, the solution also works in a very similar way with
